Efektivitas Media "Numbers Are Easy" dalam Membangun Kepercayaan Numerik Awal Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan media “number are easy” dalam membantu anak usia dini memahami konsep matematika dasar secara menyenangkan dan bermakna. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di TK Madu Balikpapan Utara. Informan penelitian terdiri atas guru kelas, guru pendamping, dan orang tua anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media “Numbers are easy” membantu anak mengenal angka, bentuk, pola, serta operasi sederhana melalui visualisasi, permainan edukatif, dan penyajian materi secara bertahap. Media ini juga mendorong keterlibatan aktif, perkembangan keterampilan kognitif, serta kemandirian belajar anak. Simpulannya, media "Numbers Are Easy" efektif sebagai media pembelajaran matematika awal yang kontekstual, visual, dan berbasis bermain bagi anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, media "Numbers Are Easy" layak dipertimbangkan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran matematika awal yang kontekstual dan sesuai dengan karakteristik belajar anak usia dini.
