Persepsi Orang Tua tentang Konsep dan Capaian Perkembangan Moral dan Agama Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Banyak kajian yang membahas bagaimana cara menanamkan nilai moral dan agama anak usia dini (AUD), namun sulit menemukan kajian yang membahas apa sesungguhnya konsep dan capaian dari perkembangan moral dan agama AUD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi orang tua tentang konsep dan capaian perkembangan moral AUD. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif eksploratif sebagai metode inkuiri, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam semi terstruktur dan pengumpulan dokumen. Narasumber wawancara adalah 66 orang tua yang memiliki anak berusia 3-7 tahun, berdomisi di Jabodetabek. Teknik analisis data tematik digunakan dengan cara data dikodifikasi, klasifikasi, dan rektifasi untuk ditarik kesimpulan tema. Data menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan moral dan agama adalah pondasi dan pedoman hidup bagi AUD; moral dan agama adalah saling terkait dan tidak bisa dipisahkan; moralitas adalah akhlak, karakter, sopan santun dan ketaatan pada aturan; keberagamaan adalah kepercayaan kepada adanya Tuhan dan beribadah sesuai keyakinan; capaian pengembangan moral ditunjukkan dengan anak bersikap baik, sopan, mengikuti aturan; dan capaian pengembangan agama ditunjukkan oleh ketaatan beragama, mengenal Allah, dan rajin beribadah. Pemahaman akan konsep dan capaian akan menjadi rujukan dan landasan rancangan program penanaman nilai moral dan agama yang tepat guna dan metode yang efektif, di rumah maupun di lembaga pendidikan.
