Eksplorasi Keterampilan Fine Motoric Anak dalam Kegiatan Menggambar Menggunakan Virtual Reality; Studi Kasus pada Generasi Alpha

Abstract
Ciri anak generasi Alpha yaitu memiliki keterampilan teknologi yang kuat sejak anak usia dini, termasuk menggunakann Device pada teknologi Virtual Reality. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi keterampilan fine motoric menggunakan teknologi virtual Reality. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada anak usia 8 tahun. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi ketika anak menggunakan VR pada kegiatan menggambar. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Humberman yang meliputi data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian data) dan verification (penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa melalui penggunaan device VR anak dapat melatih keterampilan motoric halus, hal ini teramati ketika menggunakan kontroler VR anak mengkoordinasikan sendi tangan untuk memutar, menekan dan menggerakan sendi tangannya sehingga menjadi suatu karya gambar yang immersive. Demikian juga pada kegiatan lainnya di dalam VR seperti olahraga dan permainan edukatif. Dukungan orang tua sangat penting dalam melatih fine motoric anak dengan memberi kesempatan menggunakan VR. Keterampilan fine motoric dapat memberikan manfaat panjang bagi anak generasi Alfa tidak hanya pada penggunaan VR tetapi juga dalam kehidupan sehari hari.
