Melihat dari Dalam: Mengungkap upaya Finlandia Membangun Kualitas Guru PAUD

Abstract
Kualitas guru merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Finlandia. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi Finlandia dalam menyiapkan guru di jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Metode studi kasus digunakan dalam studi ini di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan, kemudian dianalisis dengan metode analisis wacana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Finlandia membangun kualitas guru PAUD melalui partisipasi kolektif berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pemerintah, guru, perguruan tinggi, dan lembaga PAUD. Kualitas guru PAUD yang terbangun saat ini merupakan hasil proses panjang yang dimulai sejak pendaftaran individu ke program studi calon guru di perguruan tinggi, proses pendidikan di lembaga pendidikan calon guru, hingga pengalaman mengajar di lembaga PAUD. Temuan ini dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi pemangku kepentingan di Indonesia dalam pengembangan kompetensi guru PAUD, dengan modifikasi yang relevan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk menggali tentang upaya pemangku kepentingan di Indonesia menyiapkan guru PAUD agar memiliki kapasitas dan kompetensi yang mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan pada jenjang anak usía dini.
