Peran Agama dalam Lifeworld Anak Usia Dini Indonesia pada Perspektif Global Childhood

Abstract
Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis peran agama dalam lifeworld anak usia dini Indonesia serta menjelaskan bagaimana praktik keagamaan membentuk pengalaman keseharian mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan etnografi terfokus (focused ethnography) dengan perspektif lifeworld dan childhood studies. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun 2026 di TK Negeri Kasih Semesta (bukan nama sebenarnya) dengan melibatkan anak usia dini sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan grounded theory melalui proses open coding, axial coding, dan selective coding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agama tidak hadir semata sebagai seperangkat ajaran normatif, tetapi menjadi bagian integral dari dunia kehidupan anak yang terwujud melalui praktik sehari-hari, seperti berdoa, beribadah, mengaji, mengikuti perayaan keagamaan, serta interaksi dalam keluarga dan lingkungan sosial. Pengalaman-pengalaman tersebut berkontribusi dalam pembentukan identitas, moralitas, rasa aman, serta cara anak memahami relasi dengan orang lain dan lingkungannya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman masa kanak-kanak di Indonesia tidak dapat dipahami secara terpisah dari konteks religius yang melingkupinya. Artikel ini berkontribusi memperluas perspektif global childhood dengan menempatkan agama sebagai dimensi penting dalam memahami keragaman pengalaman masa kanak-kanak, sekaligus menawarkan perspektif dari konteks Global South yang selama ini masih relatif kurang terwakili dalam literatur internasional.
